Slow PC Start-up? (Part 1)

We go to our desk everyday and start up our computers. Most of us would luckily be able to start it up right away fairly fast. However, others go through a frustratingly slow start up. This could be very annoying especially if you just need to check something quickly and you do not have the time to wait for it to begin.
One of the common problems that could put a drag on your speed is the programs that start up automatically. There maybe a lot of programs that are installed in your computer with the option to start without you realizing it. This will tend to use up your RAM (onboard memory) when it should be allocated to be used in serving the operating system.
