Windows registry is known as a very important filing system acting like the central nervous system of your computer. It stores all the settings information and preference for permissions, file associations, administrative settings, and individual user settings for hardware and software. This registry is made up of different folders and files which varies in name and location depending on your Windows version.
Windows will constantly refer to the registry as you use your computer. This is why corruption, clutter, and registry errors can lead to severe problems in your computer. Some examples of registry-related troubles are runtime errors, ActiveX problems, dll errors, freezes, crashes, and overall sluggish performance.
